Sometimes you walk up to a car and it just makes you smile- this is one of those cars. Finished in a beautiful, and correct per the tag, Raven Black this car has, what we old dogs in the car business call, eyeball.
Yes, if you think you have seen this car in our inventory before you have. One of our very best customers, John from Buffalo, bought this car a while back and has enjoyed it immensely- he recently called me to see if I'd like the car back because he is moving to Pidgeon Forge and doesn't have room for the car. I'd call John and his charming wife very smart for skipping another Buffalo winter but I digress- it was a great opportunity to get a car back that I love and a chance to find a new caretaker for it.
The very cool teardrop fiberglass hood (we also have a painted to match steel hood for you purists) gives this beauty that drag car look and covers a very potent early Ford 289. Topped with a Holly Street Dominator Intake and Edlebrock 4 Barrel Carb this strong running V8 runs through a Tremec 4 speed that shifts effortlessly. When we put the car through our shop it was in such nice shape that we concluded the only thing missing from the headers back was a set of electric cutouts which we added for that off the chart growl- closed the car is almost civilized and open we know it means business.
Very clean everywhere you look, underneath, engine compartment, interior, trunk this is a very nice-looking car that is fun to drive and enjoy. The pictures truly illustrate the condition of this great old muscle car.
Drive it, show it, keep it in a bubble and polish it as a prized possession, the choice is yours once you make it yours.
We stand behind our thoughts on this car by offering our travel expenses guarantee- come see the car and if we have materially misrepresented its condition we will gladly pay half of your travel expenses up to $500.00- this offer had been in place since we sold our first classic and we haven't paid the money yet….
