Recently purchased from a long-term local owner this is a wonderful, driver quality, 1950 Chevy Deluxe two door. Of course, as most were built, this one is sporting a three on the tree 6-cylinder Chevrolet motor and it runs and shifts very nicely. The only real modification we can see is that a split header was installed by some power freak ((probably got you an extra 4 horses) long ago and does lend to a very nice exhaust rumble. Brakes are 4-wheel drum and work quite nicely.

When you think of a nice, but not perfect, car that would be great to bomb around in this is just that very type of car. Not something that you'd be afraid to leave at the golf course yet not something that you wouldn't be proud of at the car shows. The black paint is nicely applied, holds a very good shine and has a few minor areas that show a bit of use and time. The sunshade over the front windshield is quintessential 50's. The chrome is very good for the most part and very presentable- it still shines up very well. The interior is a nice cloth in grey that suits the era and this type of car very well. The wide whites give the car a great look.

Underneath the car is overall solid and the frame and floors are very nice. Its not perfect underneath but is finished in a workman like manner and is structurally very sound with a few minor areas that have been repaired at some point in its life.

I'd drive this car anywhere without worry. Throw a cooler in the back seat, grab your favorite passenger and put on the Johnny Cash cruising sunglasses- Off you go.

Drive it, show it, keep it in a bubble and polish it as a prized possession, the choice is yours once you make it yours.
