Matching numbers engine and transmission! No, really, matching numbers engine and transmission. Coded as 300 horsepower from the factory when this engine was rebuilt the horsepower was given a bump by its previous owner and per him the engine is a lot closer to 360 horsepower now. When you drive it we think you will believe it. We do.

We purchased this one for our inventory for a couple of reasons, one was the matching numbers drivetrain. The other, and main reason was the very nice quality of the restoration. We look at a lot of cars for sale- we pass on most of them. Then we watch a garage door open and see a car where the quality stops us in our tracks, and we know we have to have it. This is that car.

Great looking sidepipes give you that amazing note both at idle and rolling down the road. The turbine style wheels with knockoffs that are shod in an excellent tires simply enhance the look of this already great looking Vette.

Finished in a stunning silver blue over black interior the paint, panel fit, and quality are very well apparent when you look anywhere at this great couple. We'd call the paint an A- or B+ and our grading scale is pretty tough. Chrome has been done, look at the photos. Engine compartment has been detailed. Look at the photos. Underside is clean, detailed and the frame is excellent. Look at the photos. If you are looking for a great coupe to take to car shows, bomb around in, grab that occasional Sunday afternoon burger at the drive in with your significant other this may very well be your car.

Fit and finish on this beautiful 64 is really nice. The car presents itself far better than anything Chevrolet would have delivered in 1964. Per the original trim tag this coupe started life as a silver over red car. No harm no foul in our opinion.

Our plans are to install Vintage Air in this one and add power steering. We think this will simply put this car over the top in terms of desirability and usability. When we finish that work the price will be 4500.00 higher than this posted price.
