Sunnyside Chevrolet of Elyria, Ohio in conjunction with Greg's Sports, Classic, & Muscle is proud to offer for sale this beautiful 1969 Oldsmobile Cutlass S Convertible.
We just recently purchased this S drop top out of local ownership because we thought it represented a lot of value and fun for the money. This beauty is sporting a very nice performing Old's 455 backed by a turbo hydramatic trans. Power disc brakes up front are recently refreshed and you'll be glad to have them when the time comes as the 455 Holly 4bbl really gets this vert down the road in nothing flat. Headers make for a very nice growl out the dual exhausts. A 12-bolt rear end helps get the power to the road as do the fresh BF Goodrich 236/60R/15's. All four new T/A radials are riding on excellent Old's Rally wheels.
Finished in a smart looking red/orange this Cutlass is striking with its white interior and complimentary white stripe package. The white convertible power top is serviceable with its glass window and will keep you dry but is not mint. The trim tag decodes that this was indeed a red S convertible from the factory but was most likely powered by a 350 V8. Not anywhere near as much fun as the 455 residing in there now….
When we talked about value we believe there is a lot of bang for the dollars we are selling this car for. No, it's not a concours winner. This is a nice driver that over the years has been cared for but has had some rust repair and does have some filler in some of its panels. No harm and no foul in a car of this type that would not be embarrassed at any car show or simply doing what it does best- cruising. If you are searching for a drop top to have fun in and drive like crazy this very well may be your next car.
Drive it, show it, keep it in a bubble and polish it as a prized possession, the choice is yours once you make it yours.
