So, its 2011 and you're sitting around in California trying to figure out how you are going to hop up your beautiful dark grey 1970 RS Chevy Camaro. Ok here's an idea…. let's get a GM 427 Crate Motor Monster. No wait, that's $8,500.00 let's do something cheaper…. ah hell you only live once let's start with the $8,500 ZZ427 crate and build it right. Thank you, Summit Racing. Then lets back it up with a Turbo hydramatic 400 also brand new from Summit. Here at Sunnyside Sports Muscle and Classics we'd call that the perfect start.

After that great start let's go to a Street Avenger Carb, Hooker Headers, balanced drive shaft, aluminum, radiator, Painless wiring harness, traction bars, Hotchkiss components, Billet Specialties, B&M Shifter, Auto Meter Gauges and thousands of dollars more parts from Summit, Jegs and others and before you know it you have a stunning monster Street Machine.

Originally built in Van Nuys Cali we have been told, and firmly believe, that this one spent its entire life out west. You know that feeling when you open the driver's door and look at that bottom seam and go – Oh yea, that's never been rusty. So very nice to see. The 427 has a very nice coat of paint and with the majority of the restoration from 2009 to 2011 this paint is holding up very nicely with only a couple of minor imperfections to note. That sure illustrates a quality job. If the speedometer was replaced at time of restoration, and we believe it was, this terrific RS has travelled only a little over 2000 miles. It's one great looking, great performing car.

Born as a V8 Camaro this one has been taken to the next level. If you are a numbers matching person that's ok, this ones not for you. If you wanna mash the gas and hear a real 427 roar to life and then get a big ole smile on your face this may well be you next car.
