We love our early Camaro's here at Sunnyside Sports Muscle and Classic and this big block four speed checks the two most important boxes in our minds- big block and 4-speed.

We recently purchased this car through our friends in Arizona and it's our belief this has been a western car its whole life having been built in Los Angeles. We love western cars and are happy to have this one in the fold.

Starting with the motivation we have a 3902406 casting code block with a ED suffix that denoted 325 horsepower. While not the original engine brother John's butt dyno says 325 plus more and his cheeks are usually pretty accurate. Backed by a smooth shifting 4 speed and equipped with front disc brakes this one goes and stops just as you would like it too.

This 68 is sporting a beautiful coat of paint over a very straight body. The British Racing Green with white stripes has always been a great combination and the way it is applied it's a great look. For you purists out there the firewall tag tells us this was originally a UU Lemans Blue car. No harm no foul in our thinking.

Inside we have the 714 Custom Buckets black interior that is a really nice upgrade over a standard 68 Camaro interior- it's a much nicer look and a good bit more comfortable. There is a full complement of gauges that are on the factory center console and when you look at the dash there is a factory tach with clock- not sure if Camaro guys call that a Tic Tock Tach or not, I'll leave that to the experts.

If you are in the market for a first gen Camaro and know you have to have a stick and a big block (if you are gonna have one why not) this is a car that could hold its head high at car shows and would be an absolute blast getting there.
