When this car first pulled into our car show this August as it was coming down the drive I asked the owner a simple question- “Can I buy it?” Yep, it made that kind impression on me as it was coming in. I'm not a Hotrod guy but I believe I know when a car has “The Look”. This car has that kind of wow, cool appeal.
She's sporting an all-glass body and is motivated by a 351 Cleveland engine backed by a smooth shifting automatic transmission. Power steering makes this rod a joy to drive. This Ford goes great and stops great with nice stopping power. Something you rarely see in a car of this nature- Airconditioning- really nice for those brutal hot days.
The paint on its car presents very nicely with some minor paint/use flaws around. Nothing that detracts from the car but also not painted yesterday. Throw the golf clubs in it, drive out to the course and don't spend the next four hours worrying about getting a ding...this is a great car to drive, show and enjoy the heck out of and I believe represents a value in the market. There are enough 150 grand perfect rods out there- lets have some more that are just plain fun to own.
As a quick footnote there is a top and bows present and they are “decent”. The top will keep the rain off, it's not new but is functional. We did not take any pictures with the top up because in our opinion, this is a car to be shown and driven one way- Topless.
Drive it, show it, keep it in a bubble and polish it as a prized possession, the choice is yours once you make it yours.
We stand behind our thoughts on this car by offering our travel expenses guarantee- come see the car and if we have materially misrepresented its condition we will gladly pay half of your travel expenses up to $500.00- this offer had been in place since we sold our first classic and we haven't paid the money yet….
