Not many cars around that can make a car guys heart go pitty pat like a REAL 1957 Corvette Fuelie in max horsepower (283 horses). This beautiful white over red 57 does just that. Numbers matching with its EL coded block and a Top Flight Winner in its past this vette has been lovingly cared for and maintained and presents extremely well today.

Let's start with the basics- I'm sure you are looking at the phots and saying man, these guys at Sunnyside are a little off- I see a 4-barrel carb and intake on this “Fuelie”. Well let's tell the story. The previous owner to us, a good friend and a top line car collector just so happened to have a couple of vette Fuelies including this one and a Bloomington Top Flight car he purchased from us. He wanted a car to drive a little more regularly and this car was selected to get an intake and a carb and a tune for somewhere around 10K. The work is very good. When we took the car on trade recently and we sent the original fuel injection unit out to specialist Lyle Davidson and had the entire injection unit rebuilt plus the very special and rare Fuelie only distributor rebuilt. If you have not heard of Lyle please feel free to read up on him you will fully understand that the Fuelie unit has been reworked by a master craftsman. The unit is currently enroute back to us and we will install or not install per the new owners wishes. Yep, what the new owner will have is the best of both worlds- a real Fuelie with a totally rebuilt unit and a string running 4 barrel already on the car. Your choice.

When you look through all the photos you will see a Top Flight award from California in 2008. I will say that this car has either been cared for with extreme care and adulation or has been lightly refreshed. The car presents extremely well today with its beautiful white paint, very nice chrome and trim, wonderful red interior and of course great performance from that venerable Chevy 283 backed by a four-speed transmission. This car will stop you in your tacks when you are walking past it. We installed a brand new set of correct wide white bias ply tires and she's ready to go to a new home.
