When we first saw this car, we realized it was a labor of love- a gentleman made this car into his pride and joy over a period of time and from the looks of the car he had a skilled eye and a demand for quality work. He started with a very solid cab body and carefully and meticulously turned it into the car you see photographed here today. The car has been completely restored.

The engine powering this cab is a correct 356B Super engine as decoded by the numbers present and is a correct 356 S engine. The engine was rebuilt and performs just as it should as does the transmission with its numbers present in the photo gallery.

The quality of the body and paint work are extremely nice- the door fit is excellent the finish quality is very high and the car is free of any marks, bumps or bruised save for a couple very minor imperfections that are not visible on a quick walkaround. The owner selected his favorite Porsche 356 color of Pascha Red for this car and we must say it compliments this body style quite nicely.

The interior is done once again to a beautiful level with quality materials used throughout and with excellent workmanship. The top is in a matching tan canvass and the fit is very nice.

The chrome has all been tended to just as one would expect in a quality restoration- how often have you seen them skip the vent windows on a cab because they are a pain to chrome? Not here. All done, all good.

The trunk is extremely presentable and solid. The floors and jacking points are clean and good metal just as the photos represent.

If you are looking for a 356 Cab that would be welcome at most any car show and would be a car you can be very proud to own this may very well be you next car.

Owners' restoration notebooks, samples of paint and materials, and a Porsche Certificate of Authenticity are included in the sale.
