1971 Oldsmobile Cutlass

Sold - New York!

Sunnyside Chevrolet of Elyria, Ohio in conjunction with Greg's Sports, Classic, & Muscle is proud to offer for sale this beautiful 1971 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme 455!

Going to open this description by saying this is not your daddy's (or granddaddy's) Oldsmobile. Not by any stretch. She's a Supreme in Sienna based on her 4257, paint 67 original trim tag. We also know she was born with a 455 because the NUMBERS MATCHING BLOCK still resides in its place of honor in the engine compartment.

Speaking of the original block some significant improvements have been added that makes this Cutlass motivate down the road in earnest. First, we have your Edelbrock Performer RPM Aluminum heads, followed by an Edelbrock Performer Old's 455 Intake and a big ole honkin Holley carburetor. Then let's follow that with an aluminum radiator for cooling and some beautiful headers for breathing and that bad ass sound. Power is transferred to the rear by an overdirve automatic trans and right now I can't remember if it's a 200 or 700R but if that's important to you we will find out. Too many cool old rides and too many descriptions….

When you walk up to this car you get a very good feeling for the way it was lovingly restored and improved. The paint is very, very nice as is the chrome, the interior, underside and engine compartment. This one will draw attention when you pull into your local car show with it. The intake hood on the car is steel not fiberglass and makes for a great look. The chrome Cragars rims set the car off very nicely. When the car was built new it was indeed an airconditioned Supreme and the dash and firewall still have the components so that if you did want to make it an air car again it would be fairly simple to convert. My suggestion is to turn the key, mash the gas and smile….

Drive it, show it, keep it in a bubble and polish it as a prized possession, the choice is yours once you make it yours.

We stand behind our thoughts on this car by offering our travel expenses guarantee- come see the car and if we have materially misrepresented its condition we will gladly pay half of your travel expenses up to $500.00- this offer had been in place since we sold our first classic and we haven't paid the money yet…. We pride ourselves on having good cars and representing them properly.
